This morning was my annual trip to Touchstone for my MRIs. Happens every year and, honestly, it’s a peaceful hour or so. Today is just the ol’ brain and not the thoracic or cervical spine, that’s next year.
I have to say that this time I’m eager to hear what the Dr. says about this one. I’ve been dizzier than usual and (I’m sure my wife can verify) moodier. I’m hoping there are no exacerbations or active lesions but if there are, at least I have an answer to what’s going on.
(Flash forward an hour)
It’s weird to me that every time I got one of these done the MRI techs are shocked at how calm I am. Even when I tell them I do these every year. I think they’re just not used to people being so unbothered by any of it.
Claustrophobic? Nope. Do you care which arm we put the dye in? Nope. What kind of music do you want to listen to? Doesn’t matter.
Don’t worry, I’m always super nice to everyone. It just makes me chuckle.
The thing that’s does drive me nuts? Insurance. I don’t know why the even offer an “estimated cost” on their website, it’s never right. Either way, what are you gonna do?
So that’s done for this year. Now I just have to wait and see what the Dr. says about it in a few days.
So. That’s all for now. Nothing fun for y’all this time.
As a parting gift, here’s my crazy dog trying to find the sun on a chair.
