Let me first start by saying I do not make any money on any links or product mentions in this post.
I bought my first gun a couple of months ago and have loved every minute of it. We've been renting guns every time we go shooting to find what we like and I quickly found that the Glock 17 Gen 5 was the one for me.
I loved the gun from the moment I put my hand around the grip. It just felt right. Then, my wife bought a gun, the Smith & Wesson M&P 9mm M2.0 and and man do I love with the grip on that thing. I need everything about the G17 to be the way it is, except for the grip.
Thankfully, that was easier to do than I thought.
Enter Talon Grips.
Ignore the carpet, I don't yet have a workbench for all of my tinkering.
As far as handgun upgrades go, this one was cheap (under $20) and incredibly easy to install for a beginner like myself and they look great. Talon Grips are an adhesive material that you apply to the grip of your gun to add more texture to "hold on to". They last between 1 and 3 years depending on how often you use it so we'll see how it goes.
I haven't fired it yet with the new grips but I'm expecting to see an improvement. I'll let you know how things go.
